We did some tests with the new Siemens PLC S7-1200.

As the S7-1200 is an Ethernet PLC, you link it to an eWON with a simple ethernet cable.

Tag Polling

Use the IOServer S73&400 in ISOTCP with a TSAP 03.01S7-1200-Config.png

And you will be able to poll Input, Output, Flags and data blocks.
Timer and counter are not possible because they are addressed as an instance data block in the PLC.

S7-1200 is then readable with any kind of eWON (no need of MPI port)
