The information applies to Talk2M connections using Free+, Go or Pro services.
To make the Talk2M connection work different ports must be opened for outgoing connection.
Hereunder you will find detailed information of the ports and addresses used for the Talk2M connection.
For the used addresses and ports we will need to distinguish between the Talk2M connection from the PC side and the Talk2M connection from the eWON side.
To check if the different ports and addresses needed for the Talk2M connection can be reached from inside your network you can use our

eCatcher connection to Talk2M
The eCatcher will need to connect to following servers:
1) Access Server:
Address: as.pro.talk2m.com (92.52.111.210)
Protocol and port: HTTPS (port 443)
2) VPN servers:
- VPN Server 1 (European server)
Address: 92.52.111.211, 87.98.142.151
( 87.98.142.151 new server addresses from 21/12/2011 on)
Protocol and port:
- either UDP port 1194
- either TCP port 443
- VPN Server 2 (American server)
Address: 174.123.248.66
Protocol and port:
- either UDP port 1194
- either TCP port 443
If the Internet connection is established through a Proxy server, then eCatcher will use the TCP protocol.
eWON connection to Talk2M
eWON will need to connect to following servers:
1) Access Server:
Address: as.pro.talk2m.com (92.52.111.210)
Protocol and port: HTTPS (port 443)
2) VPN servers:
- VPN server 1 (European server)
Address: 94.236.12.2, 92.52.111.213, 92.52.111.214, 87.98.142.168
( 92.52.111.213 and 92.52.111.214 new server addresses from 5/12/2011 on)
( 87.98.142.168 new server addresses from 21/12/2011 on)
Protocol and port:
- either UDP, port 1194
- either TCP, port 443
- VPN server 2 (American server)
Address: 174.123.248.67
Protocol and port:
- either UDP, port 1194
- either TCP, port 443
If the Internet connection is established through a Proxy server, then eWON will use the TCP protocol.
Note concerning the "Auto Detect" option of the eCatcher or eWON connection:
To check if the UDP connection is possible, eCatcher and eWON will try to establish an UDP connection to the Access Server. So if you want to connect using UDP, then the port UDP 1194 must also be opened for the Access Server (as.pro.talk2m.com) connection. If you fix the connection settings to "UDP", then this port must not be opened on the Access Server.
